Information we access

When you connect YouTube, Google provides authorization tokens and information about the channel you authorize, such as its channel ID, name, handle and thumbnail. Magnify requests permission to view your YouTube account information and upload videos. We also store the media, titles, descriptions, publishing settings and schedules supplied by workspace operators, together with upload results and operational history.

We do not receive or store your Google password.

How we use it

We use this information to identify the correct channel, maintain its authorized connection, upload approved videos, request publication schedules, and show publishing results or errors to authorized workspace operators.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Magnify’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

Account connections and publishing records are stored in Magnify’s database. Media files are stored separately in object storage. The application can run on the operators’ own computers or servers; its current infrastructure also uses Railway for database hosting and Cloudflare R2 for media storage. Cloudflare serves this public website.

Authorized Magnify operators and the infrastructure providers needed to run the service may process this information for those purposes. Uploading sends the selected media and publishing metadata to YouTube. We do not make authorization tokens public.

Retention and deletion

Magnify retains channel connections and related records while they are needed to operate the workspace. Operators retain authored media, revisions and publishing history for their channel work.

You can request deletion of your stored connection and associated personal information by contacting the Magnify team. Removing data from Magnify does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube; those can be managed in YouTube Studio. Backup copies may persist until the relevant backups are replaced or removed.

Revoke access at any time

You can remove Magnify’s access through your Google Account connections. This prevents further API access using that authorization. Revoking access does not by itself delete Magnify’s previously stored records; contact us to request that separately.

YouTube and Google also handle data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

This public website

These information pages do not use advertising, analytics scripts, embedded videos, account registration or contact forms. The hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Cloudflare forwards support email to the operators' Gmail inboxes. We use your email address and message content to respond to your request and retain the correspondence as needed to resolve it.
